Here’s a synthesizer made with beans, dolls and ducks
Who said that electronic music couldn’t be senseless? Surely not the people at Minimalogue. The South Korean design firm as of late constructed Knuckle Visualizer, a synthesizer that replaces catches, handles and sliders with fun bits like jam beans, elastic ducks and little matryoshka dolls. Also yes, it lives up to expectations – while you won’t get a yarn-based waveform presentation like in the feature underneath (that is only for demonstrate), the Visualizer itself beeps and squeaks like any “genuine” synth. This workmanship venture is obviously an one-off, yet there’s a making-of cut that could help you reproduce it in your own studio.
